Kobe Beef comes from a specific Japanese cattle breed, known as Wagyu, which produces an extremely marbled type of beef, meaning it contains high levels of intramuscular fat.

The more intramuscular fat a cut of beef contains, the higher it is rated on a scale of 1 to 12, with 12 being the highest level of marbling.

When heated, this fat in between the muscles melts, giving the steak a more buttery flavor.

Varanda was the first restaurant in Brazil to offer Kobe Beef.

Since then, Varanda has been working to offer its customers this delicacy in several different cuts and marbling levels.

Happy Hour

Varanda JK is an excellent choice for those who want to get together with friends and family after work.

For this very reason, Varanda JK offers Happy Hour packages with special menus, which include appetizers and drinks.

These gatherings are held on the mezzanine, which can be booked exclusively for private parties of 15-30 guests.

Happy Hour events can be held from Monday to Friday, starting any time after 6 pm and for a duration of two hours.
